Our thoughts create our reality.  This is the major tenet of The Law of Attraction. What we think and believe we attract and create in our lives.  The first step in creating and manifesting what we desire is to become clear in our desires.  This aligns our energy with the Universe so It can bring what we desire to us.  But there’s another reason for gaining crystal clarity in our desires – our own internal focus and alignment.

This came into sharp focus for me this past month.  I have spent the past year gaining greater and greater clarity of what was my life path and right livelihood.  I thought it consisted only of teaching and sharing the principles and concepts of Living In Thrival I developed.  I was clear that this was my path.  But I was still being assailed by doubt and fear storms, questioning its validity and my worthiness and abilities.  I struggled and fought on trying to figure out how to get my message out into the world. I couldn’t think of anyway to market myself or my ideas.  And everything I tried seemed doomed to failure.  I felt like a failure.  But even though I felt like quitting and giving up, I didn’t.  I kept asking myself, “what do I want to do”, “who do I want to work with”, and “who are my ideal clients”, each time receiving more pieces to the puzzle.  But the picture of my full desire – my lifepath – wasn’t complete.  I was still lacking that “Ah-ha!  Yes!” feeling which generates excitement and joy.

My last job in the business world left me haggard and wounded.  I didn’t want anything to do with business.  I only wanted to work with individuals.  I refused to entertain any thoughts or discussions on how I could weave the principles of Thrival with business.  I kept running away from it even though I knew they applied just as much to businesses as to our personal lives.  Despite knowing one of my great loves is business, especially entrepreneurialism, I shied away from it.  I ignored it. 

It kept knocking on my door.

Friends would ask me business questions.  Then one day a friend asked me to do some business consulting with her for her business.  As I talked with her, I found myself naturally weaving the concepts of Thrival into our conversation.  And I loved it.

I added this piece to the rest of the puzzle of my life path and right livelihood. It was almost complete, but not quite. Then I remembered another of my passions – the empowerment of women.  The “Ah-ha” moment happened then.  My path and passion is the empowerment of women, using the principles of Thrival and in business.  I believe one of the paths to women’s empowerment is through owning and running our own businesses.  I was not only clear – I was crystal clear.

And with that clarity, all my doubts and fears dissipated.  They are gone.  No where to be seen or felt.  I have complete confidence in what I’m doing.  Ideas pop into my head about ways I can market myself and how to offer my services to women.  In my clarity, I feel excitement and joy.  I can serenely wait for all to unfold inbeauty and ease, for I know it will.

This is the benefit of our being crystal clear with our desires.  The desire itself is our joy. 

Another benefit is we know the direction weneed to be taking and can discern what is right for us to be doing.  We can instantly see when we’re headed the wrong direction or going on a tangent. In writing the copy for my new Guidance Programs, I started writing them with the audience of “everyone” in mind. I was having trouble, nothing was flowing well.  Then I remembered my clarity of life purpose and passion.  The programs became Women In Thrival programs and the words just flew from my heart and onto the page.  

In summary, we need to find the crystal clarity of our desires, not only to deliberately create our reality but for these added benefits:

*   Doubt and fear can’t abide in the strong light of our clear purpose and desire

*   We can find joy and excitement in our desire

*   It provides us focus in our choices as we move through life

*   It lights our path showing us which way we need to go

When you are in the process of gaining your crystal clarity, don’t give up.  Each moment or incident of doubt or contrast is another piece of the puzzle of your clear, precise desire.  The completed picture brings with it the full light of your consciousness and it becomes a beacon that magnetizes and attracts the manifestation of your desire.  This is how you create your reality.
